Make a Difference in the lives of Spina Bifida Warriors on the Eastern Shore

SBAES is an all volunteer led 501c3 Non-Profit that supports children and adults with Spina Bifida and their families by providing support group and family events, medical equipment and medical expense support, education, recreational activities, and wellness opportunities.

100% of all donations and fundraiser proceeds go directly to support children and adults on the Eastern Shore of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia living with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus

SPINA BIFIDA ASSOCIATION OF THE EASTERN SHORE AT A GLANCE

The purpose of SBAES is to:

Promote the well-being and human rights of all people having the conditions of Spina Bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their families
Promote and encourage care, treatment, education, social integration, and normalization of people with Spina Bifida
Encourage research into the causes, prevention, and treatment of people with Spina Bifida and to disseminate such information to parents and the general public
To raise the level of awareness in ourselves and in others to the nature of the particular and special needs as well as the abilities, potentialities, and psychological normalcy of people with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus
